• "User," "You," refers to any individual who accesses or uses our platform
• "Instructor" refers to users who create and publish courses on our platform
• "Student" refers to users who enroll in and take courses
• "Content" includes all materials, courses, videos, text, and resources

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Course Enrollment and Access

4.1 Enrollment

When you enroll in a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for personal educational purposes. This license is valid for the lifetime of the course on our platform.

4.2 Payment and Refunds

Course fees are displayed at the time of enrollment. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Our refund policy allows for refunds within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content.

4.3 Free Courses

Free courses are provided at no cost but are still subject to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free courses at any time.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Share, distribute, or resell course content without authorization
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or instructors
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its servers
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Content

All content on our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and course materials, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Instructor Content

Instructors retain ownership of their course content. By publishing content on our platform, instructors grant us a license to host, distribute, and promote their courses.

6.3 User-Generated Content

By submitting reviews, comments, or other content, you grant us the right to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our services.

7. Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of a course, you may receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are provided for personal achievement purposes and do not constitute formal academic accreditation unless explicitly stated.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Governance Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content or the uninterrupted operation of our services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms and Conditions.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
